“In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven” (Matthew 5:16). One of our core values at ABC is impact. We believe Jesus wants his church to be an impactful people. His light is in us, and he shines through us to push back darkness in our world.
Last Sunday we were able to celebrate the ways we are making an impact together. God continues to financially provide through the generosity of his church. Our financial gifts are making an eternal impact, but our spiritual gifts should too. Spirit filled believers are called to use their gifts to make an impact in the church. As Peter says, “As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace” (1 Peter 4:10).
Where are you making an impact in our church? Just as God wants us to steward the financial gifts he has given us, he also wants us to steward the spiritual gifts he has given us. You have a role to play at ABC. The church should be a blessing to the church member, but the member is designed to also be a blessing to the church. As we continue to grow, we need every member to find their way to use their gifts.
Prayerfully consider where you can serve. The opportunities are there, and you can make an impact in our church family. Explore opportunities HERE and take a step of faith this week.
