Senior Pastor, Austin Baptist Church

Jonathan serves as the Senior Pastor at Austin Baptist Church in Austin, TX. ABC is located in Four Points, one of the fastest growing areas of the state’s capital city. The church has a membership of over 1,900 people and offers traditional and contemporary worship services, as well as Bible studies and ministries for children and adults of all ages. Before coming to ABC in 2020, Jonathan served for nearly 12 years as an Associate Pastor at Second Baptist Church in Houston, under the leadership of Dr. Ed Young.

Pastor Jonathan has been married to his beautiful wife, Bethany, for 12 years and they have 3 wonderful kids: Emma, Jacob, and Daniel . He is a proud Aggie and a graduate of Texas A&M University. He then went on to earn his Masters at Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary and is currently pursuing his Doctorate of Ministry at Gateway Seminary in California. Away from the church, Jonathan loves BBQing in the backyard with his family, watching football and basketball, deer hunting, game nights with friends, and spending time on the lake.
