Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life” (John 8:12). This Sunday, we are going to celebrate that the Light has come. Christmas Eve candlelight services provide the wonderful opportunity to bring the entire family together to sing familiar Christmas carols, hear a comforting message, and experience the wonder of light.
I encourage you to join us for one of our two identical services at 10am or 3pm. Don’t miss the opportunity to share your light this week by inviting a family member or friend to join you. As we near the end of 2023, I am grateful for the many ways that God has shined through our church family this year. May each of us approach Christmas day with hearts filled with gratitude and generosity. Praise be to God for the great things He has done.
